Omschrijving
An in-depth approach has been taken to describe the modeling of structures for control design, the development of control algorithms suitable for structural control, and the implementation of control algorithms by means of Simulink block diagrams or C language.
Moon K. Kwak received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Naval Architecture from Seoul National University in 1981 and 1983. He then received his Ph.D. degree from the Dept. of Engineering Science and Mechanics of Virginia Tech in 1989. He taught dynamics at the same department of Virginia Tech as an assistant professor and after that he worked at the USAF Phillips Laboratory and the University of New Mexico. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Mechanical, Robotics and Energy Engineering of Dongguk University in Seoul, Korea. He worked as the provost of the academic affairs and the dean of Dharma college of Dongguk University. He served as the president of the Korean Society of Noise and Vibration Engineers (KSNVE) in 2020 and hosted InterNoise 2020 conference held in Seoul, Korea. His main research areas of interests are active vibration control, dynamics and control, smart structures, and fluid-structure interaction problem.
