Omschrijving

A library development will now inevitably seek to lead by example, visibly demonstrating sound environmental practice, and providing an enhanced user experience for increasingly more discerning patrons.

Eco-Library Design provides a worldwide perspective on 21st century trends in library architecture.

From the reviews:

“This book is an illustrated guide to some ecological libraries around the world. Plans, sections, renderings of some of the libraries are included in this volume which can be of great help to architects as well as as students designing libraries. … Overall a good basic guide to library design and understanding of the key concepts.” (Book Review (Jadavpur University), January-March, 2014)
