Planetary Radio Signal Reception & Cloud Computing

Remote sensing and its kindred technologies, such as geographic information systems (GIS), the Global Positioning System (GPS) etc. have a pervasive impact on the conduct of sciences, government and business alike. This book is designed to be primarily used in two ways: as a textbook in a very specialized field of remote sensing and a reference for the burgeoning number of practitioners who use space science and associated information of technology in the field of radio signal reception from terrestrial sources and the subsequent analysis as well as some popular applications involved in the process of cloud computing in their work. We have strongly emphasized radio signal data acquisition and analysis under different behaviors of the terrestrial sources, while retaining basic information about earlier sensors and methods from which one may also gather a vast amount of archival data exist, which may be considered increasingly valuable as a source for studies of long¿term change.

Planet Jupiter and its Galilean Satellites

The book is appropriate for professors for teaching specific courses, for researchers for stimulating current topics, and for scientists working in the field of Jovian Science for getting ready-made information and future thought. It will be profitable to the technicians working with spacecrafts and other related or similar equipments. The book has glossary of terms, case studies, list of abbreviations and recent references. The contents of this book provide ample testimony to the immense scientific achievements of knowledge of the planet and its satellites over the decades. The main purpose of this book is to present a precise authoritative distillation of the body of literature on Jupiter published up to the time.

Particle Physics as Building Blocks of the Universe

The main motivation of this book is to present the subject of elementary particle physics in relation to its developments and connections with astrophysics and cosmology, keeping in mind to show the tremendous development of particle physics as building blocks of the Universe. Besides the Standard Model of quarks and leptons, the shortcomings of this model and new physics based on supersymmetric neutrino, GUTs are critically discussed. Various works based on scientific and technological aspects developed in recent years have got priority in this presentation so that it uncovers the mysteries of the role of elementary particles to appreciate the fascinating building blocks of matter which in turn make up our Universe. Today, our thinking of elementary particles and their interactions extending to the understanding of the Universe has reached to an exciting point with many challenging astrophysical observations like dark matter, dark energy, matter-antimatter asymmetry etc. The book presents the recent developments in these diverse areas of particle physics with a view to develop ultimately a close link to the Universe as a whole.
