Description

Giuseppe Tartini (1692–1770) made history both as an outstanding composer and as an exceptional music theorist. Especially after he began to devote himself to speculative reflections of music, Tartini seems to have been searching for harmony between music theory and musical practice

Nejc Sukljan studied musicology and history at the Faculty of Arts, University
of Ljubljana where he now works as an assistant professor at the Department of
Musicology. His main areas of interest include history of early music and history of
music theory.
