Description

Sheetal N. Ghorpade received her M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Pune, India, and a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Gyanvihar University, Jaipur, India. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she is currently an Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics with RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering, Pune, India. Her research interests are graph theory, optimization techniques, wireless sensor networks and the Internet of Things. She has undertaken research visits at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Italy as Simon's Visitor in 2018 and 2019.

Marco Zennaro received his M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Trieste, Italy and Ph.D. from the KTH-Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He is a research scientist at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, where he is the coordinator of the Science, Technology and Innovation unit. He is a visiting professor at the KIC-Kobe Institute of Computing, Japan. His research interest is in ICT4D, the use of ICT for development, and in particular, he investigates the use of IoT in developing countries. He has given lectures on wireless technologies in more than 30 countries.

Bharat S. Chaudhari received his ME in Telecom Engineering and Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 1993 and 2000, respectively. After being a full professor in electronics and telecommunication engineering with the Pune Institute of Computer Technology and Dean at the International Institute of Information Technology Pune, Dr. Chaudhari joined MIT World Peace University (then MIT Pune) Pune, India as a Professor in 2014. Dr. Chaudhari has authored more than 75 research papers in wireless, telecom, and optical networks. His research interests include wireless sensors networks, low power wide area networks, Internet of Things, and optical networks. He is Simon's Associate of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Italy, for 2015 through 2020. He received a young scientist research grant from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He is the founder chair of IEEE Pune Section and a senior member of IEEE, a fellow of IETE and IE (I).
