Volume 37 of the Flora of Australia is the first of three volumes covering the family Asteraceae. It volume presents an introduction to the family in Australia, including a synoptic classification and keys, and treatments of all the tribes represented in Australia, with the exception of the large tribes Gnaphalieae and Astereae, which will each be the subject of a future volume.
The Australian Biological Resources Study is a program within Parks Australia Division of the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities. ABRS publications include several internationally recognised series of books and software about Australia's biodiversity, published in conjunction with CSIRO Publishing, as well as a range of book and software products published alone or in conjunction with other agencies.
