Economists seek to establish empirically the effect of monetary policies on economic indicators during 21st century at the global, regional, group, and country levels, with a special emphasis on India. Their topics include measuring the effectiveness of official development assistance on the economic growth of developing countries: a 2009-13 analysis, optimal monetary policy instruments for Nigeria, determinants of operating efficiency of commercial banks in India: insights from panel regression model, and credit insurance under different policy regimes and associated risk of crisis.
Ramesh Chandra Das is presently Associate Professor of Economics at Vidyasagar University, India with twenty years of teaching and research experience.
