We hebben twee maanden vakantie gevierd, maar op 15 september zijn we weer terug met de YA book club. Omdat we ruim de tijd hebben om flink te lezen, doen we het ook meteen goed: we lezen in september een serie. Om het een beetje schappelijk te houden hebben we democratisch Passenger en Wayfarer van Alexandra Bracken verkozen; slechts twee boeken dus!

Passenger en Wayfarer zijn te vinden op onze YA-afdeling. Voor een hapje en een drankje wordt gezorgd, dus het enige wat je hoeft te doen is de boeken lezen en op 15 september meepraten over het boek.
De Bored to Death book club werd ruim twee jaar geleden opgericht door twee Rotterdamse zusjes die vonden dat er een platform moest komen voor Engelstalige literatuur. Zo werd de reguliere book club, die maandelijks in Kaapse Maria gehouden wordt, geboren. Sinds oktober 2014 is hier ook de YA book club bijgekomen, die maandelijks wordt georganiseerd door een van de zusjes en een medewerker van Donner in Donner. De Bored to Death book club organiseert ook andere evenementen, zoals een feministische talkshow. Ook bloggen ze dagelijks over alles wat met boeken te maken heeft op hun gelijknamige website.
