European Public Prosecutor's Office, EPPO is a new institution in the supranational organization of the European Union, and Romania is the country that gave the first European chief prosecutor, in the person of Laura Codrüa Kövesi. Professor PhD Vasile Pavaleanu is currently teaching at university, but in his practical activity he was the first prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office near the Suceava Tribunal. From this double perspective, theoretician and law practitioner, the author analyzes this new institution of the European Union, the volume being the proof of the vast experience in the field of European criminal law of Professor Pavaleanu, who has written over time several papers on this topic. The volume deals with the way in which the European Public Prosecutor's Office was born, its organization and functioning, the principles on which it operates, its material, territorial and personal competence, as well as the specific procedural rules governing its activity.
