Omschrijving
The book analyses migrant experiences of illegality in Turkey and Morocco by taking into account how both countries responded to increasing pressure by the European Union to govern irregular migration within their territories.
"This is a great piece of writing. It is theoretically sophisticated, drawing on and developing theories of migrant illegality, and empirically ambitious with significant original research in challenging political environments. The book makes a valuable contribution to a vibrant critical literature on the geopolitics of migration beyond Europe's borders."
