Sally and John McKenna have travelled throughout Ireland for more than 30 years, ever since they first set off, in a Renault 4 they bought for £100, to explore the country and its food culture.
The New York Times has described the McKennas as “Ireland’s leading food writers.” and their books have won many awards. In 2018 Sally and John were each awarded an Honorary Fellowship by GMIT Galway, in recognition of their work describing Ireland’s artisan food culture.
