Description
INTRODUCTIONWireless sensor network (WSN) based target tracking has become a majorresearch field in recent years. The WSN is composed of a large number of tiny, battery-poweredspatially distributed sensor nodes that can communicate and exchange datawith each other. This chapter first explains the fundamentals of wireless sensornetworks, their characteristics, limitations, and applications. Next, the WSN basedLocalization and Tracking (L&T) issues and measurement techniques are discussed.
