Rosa Churcher Clarke is from Manchester (UK) and has been living and working in Lisbon for the last 10 years. Before moving to Portugal, she received an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Oxford. She has continued her studies in Lisbon and elsewhere with a Masters in 'Crossways in Cultural Narratives' and, more recently, with a PhD in Comparative Studies. Her translation work has been broad and varied and reflects her wish to see more quality literature and arts exported from Portugal and the wider Portuguese-speaking world and made available to a global audience.
