Following the F40 and the Testarossa books in this series, this monograph on 288 GTO retraces the technical and stylistic genesis of the supercar, with contributions from several of the artificers of the model. All this accompanied by invaluable materials, many of which previously unpublished, drawn from the archives of the magazine Quattroruote.
Class of 1964, born in Lodi (Milan) but a resident of Piacenza, Gaetano Derosa is a journalist contributing to the automotive magazines Ruoteclassiche and Quattroruote as well as numerous national newspapers. In 2002, he contributed to the Treccani Encylopaedia of Sport, edited by Gianni Cancellieri, one of the most authoritative Italian automotive historians.
