Description
The central focus of this book is the translation of filmic products into European and Oriental languages, gathering together reflections on English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese, analysed also in their relation to Italian. Audiovisual language is investigated both on a theoretical and didactic level.
Claudia Buffagni is a lecturer in German Language and Translation at the Università per Stranieri of Siena. Her research area includes German-Italian contrastive studies, German as a Foreign Language-didactics, Medienlinguistik, Audiovisual Translation.
Beatrice Garzelli is a lecturer in Spanish Language and Translation at the Università per Stranieri of Siena. She studies literary translation, Spanish-Italian contrastive analysis and the use of film in the didactics of Spanish.
