I was born as Eva Barucha in 1978 as the fifth of 6 siblings in Cosel / Upper Silesia. When I was just one year old, we emigrated and came to Remscheid via Friedland, Unamassen and Waldbröl. Here I grew up, completed my schooling and training as a nurse, married and gave birth to 2 sons (2008 & 2014). The fun of storytelling and writing captivated me as a child, when I used to tell my little sister fantastic stories before going to sleep (usually I fell asleep while telling her and was then aroused, because she wanted to know how the story continued). However, my job and family life keep me so occupied that this aspect of my life was neglected for a long time, even though I have always longed to writing and sharing my stories. After a lot of turmoil and unexpected turns, now that my life has assumed some semblance of normality (as orderly as it can be with two lively bright boys ;O)), I want to realise this dream. So, here I am. And I'm looking forward to giving you, my dear reader, a little break from reality with my stories (because more will surely follow!).
