Ian Macpherson is Emeritus Professor of Spanish at the University of Durham, an Honorary Research Fellow at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, and a Comendador de la Orden de Isabel la Catolica. Angus MacKay is Emeritus Professor of History at the University of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, and a Fellow of the British Academy. Both have published extensively on the fifteenth century in Spain.
