Dr. Singh obtained his doctoral degree from the Institute of Environment & Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is an environmental scientist with research interests in soil carbon dynamics, land-use change and management, waste management, environmental contaminants, biochar, and carbon sequestration.
