Description

The book considers the riverine paleo structures of the coastal marine zone from the point of view of marine bottom seismic acoustics. The book will be of interest to marine geophysicists, marine geologists, and those interested in new methods to approach marine problems worldwide.

Dr Mikhail Klyuev

Senior Researcher of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Sciences. He graduated from the Faculty of General and Applied Physics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1986. Dr Klyuev‘s research interests are marine geology, hydro-acoustics and underwater archeology, the development of seismic-acoustic methods, geophysical models, and also interpretations and equipment for studying the structure and objects of the seabed. He has published more than 100 scientific papers.

Dr Anatoly Schreider

Chief Researcher of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy, Professor. Graduated from the Faculty of Geology of Moscow State University in 1966. His scientific interests are geophysics, tectonics and geodynamics of the ocean floor, as well as the magnetic field of bottom oceanic rocks. He is a leading expert inthe field of the chronological scale of linear ocean magnetic anomalies and has more than 200 scientific publications, including 12 collective monographs.

Alexey Zverev

Researcher of the Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Graduated from the Faculty of Geology of Moscow State University in 1980. His scientific interests are the development and improvement of seismic-acoustic and magnetometric equipment for studying the structure of the seabed and the implementation of full-scale marine research and surveys in various regions of the World Ocean. He is also one of the developers of the seismic-acoustic complex for profiling the seabed GEONT-SHELF and has more than 70 publications.
