Bintang Handayani has served as the head of undergraduate study programme at Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bali International, Indonesia; where she also has served as a Senior Researcher. Her research focuses on Branding in Tourism and Hospitality; Technology Mediated-Communication in Tourism and Hospitality; Special Interest Tourism; Media-related Tourism, and Personification of a nation. Senior Lecturer, Event and Tourism Management Studies; Programme Leader of the Event Management, University of Winchester Business School, United Kingdom.

Hugues Seraphin, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Event and Tourism Management Studies. He holds a PhD from the Universite de Perpignan Via Domitia, France, and joined The University of Winchester Business School, United Kingdom, in 2012. He is the Programme Leader of the Event Management program. This program is one of the leading program in the country with 100% students' satisfaction (NSS 2016). Dr. Seraphin started his career in 2003 as a French teacher in a secondary school in Birmingham, United Kingdom. He then started to teach travel, tourism, and events in 2006 when he joined a further education college in London. Dr. Seraphin possesses a broad range of international experiences. This includes teaching at top business schools and universities in France (EM Normandie; ESC Larochelle; ESC Pau; Universite de Perpignan Via Domitia, etc.). Prior to his career in the academic arena, Dr. Seraphin worked in the tourism and hospitality sector within various organizations and roles (in the Caribbean and in Europe). He received various awards for the quality of his teaching. Dr. Seraphin is also active in research.

Korstanje Maximiliano is a leading and global cultural theorist specialized in terrorism, mobilities and tourism. Korstanje serves as Senior Researcher at the University of Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina (economics department) and Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Safety and Security in Tourism and Hospitality (University of Palermo, Argentina). Besides, he was visiting professor at CERS (Centre for Ethnicity and Racism Studies) in the University of Leeds (United Kingdom), TIDES in the University of Las Palmas de gran Canarias (Spain) and the University of La Habana, Cuba. In 2016, he is included as Scientific Editor for Studies and Perspective in Tourism (CIET) and as honorary member of the Scientific Council of Research and Investigation hosted by UDET (University of Tourist Specialties, Quito Ecuador). With more than 1200 publications and 30 books, Korstanje is Book Series editor of Advances in Hospitality, Tourism and Service Industries (IGI Global, US), the foreign faculty member of Mexican Academy of Tourism Research (Mexico) as well as foreign member of The Tourism Crisis Management Institute (University of Florida, US). In 2018, his biography was selected to be part of the roster of Alfred Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (Marquis Who`s Who). Korstanje has been awarded as Editor in Chief Emeritus for the International Journal of Cyber-Warfare and Terrorism. Now, he works as an active adviser and reviewer of different editorial projects in the most leading academic publishers as Elsevier, Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, Cambridge Scholar Publishing, Edward Elgar, CABI, Nova Science Publishers and IGI global among others. His latest book is The Challenges of Democracy in the War on Terror (Routledge UK).
