While focusing on the new atopic disorders of the unified airway, such as local allergic rhinitis, "dual" allergic rhinitis, local allergic asthma, and local allergic conjunctivitis, the work combines clinical examples of allergic diseases and their treatment with their immunological background.
Vladimir Klimov graduated from Siberian State Medical University (SibSMU) in 1977; he then added to his training at the University of L'Aquila (Italy), where he specialized in allergy and clinical immunology (1996) and at Pittsburgh University School of Medicine, Department of Immunology and Center for Continuing Education, USA (2005). Currently, he holds PhD, DSc, MD degrees, and he is the Head of SibSMU Clinical Immunology & Allergy Dept and Immunologist-in-Chief of Tomsk Region, in Russia. Prof. Klimov has over 30 years of experience in routine work in both immunology and paediatrics, and 20 years of experience in Immunology e-Teaching to international students. Skilled in pedagogical, clinical and computer work, he lectures to students including international students, consults patients, and implements scientific research.
