Andrew Cartmel (Author) is a British author and journalist. He was also the script editor of Doctor Who from 1987 to 1989. He has also worked as a script editor on other television series, as a magazine editor, as a comics writer, as a film studies lecturer, and as a novelist.

David Llewellyn (Author)
was born in Pontypool in 1978. He is the author of three previous novels, 'Eleven', 'Torchwood: Trace Memory', and 'Everything Is Sinister'. He lives in Cardiff.

He has also written numerous short stories, including the title story in the Torchwood: Consequences collection and 'Cybermen: Status Update' (an exclusive adventure included in the BBC's interactive ebook Doctor Who: Cybermen Monster File).
