India's Energy Revolution
India is the third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases, which makes it an important player whose climate mitigation actions and inactions are closely scrutinised. This book studies developments in India's energy system from a governance perspective. It presents a unique compilation and synthesis of research findings that capture achievements, shortcomings, and persistent and transient challenges of India's transition towards a net-zero economy by 2070. The book grounds its analysis in domestically formulated goals and reflects on dynamics at the structural level of India's multi-scalar innovation system, by highlighting the influencing factors of energy system status and change. It presents the perspectives and positions of different actor groups, studies the market and business, and discusses cases influenced by existing or changing institutions across the whole spectrum of energy resources from fossil to non-fossil fuels and respective technologies. The volume will be useful for students and researchers in energy governance, energy policy and economics, socio-technical transition studies, energy systems engineering, sustainable development, and environmental studies. It will also be of interest to policymakers and investors.

The Cambridge Handbook of Law and Responsible Business
This Handbook provides the first comprehensive examination of the legal strategies around the world shaping sustainability in global value chains. Bringing together leading scholars, it maps how diverse legal disciplines (including corporate law, labour law, tax law, tort law, private law, environmental law, international law and more) conceptualise and regulate the complex architectures of cross-border production. Through a unifying analytical framework, the book reveals how fragmented regulatory approaches can complement one another, and how legal tools may address the environmental, social, and economic challenges that global production networks create and sustain. Covering jurisdictions across the globe and engaging with emerging regulatory instruments such as due diligence laws, sustainability reporting obligations, climate transition plans, and international taxation initiatives, this Handbook offers an indispensable resource for academics, policymakers, practitioners, and students concerned with responsible business conduct and sustainable development. This title is also available as open access on Cambridge Core.

Online Child Sex Abuse
Online Child Sex Abuse provides a deeply researched, multidisciplinary examination of one of the most urgent and disturbing challenges of the digital age. Intended for students, law enforcement professionals, child protection workers, legal experts, educators, and policy-makers, this book addresses the complex nature, scope, and impact of child sexual abuse facilitated through online platforms. The book begins by defining online child sex abuse in its various forms, including grooming, live-streaming, sextortion, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and trafficking through digital means. It analyzes how social media, gaming platforms, encrypted messaging services, and the dark web are misused to exploit children, while also emphasizing the psychological tactics offenders use to manipulate and silence victims.
