Intense heat conditions
The report characterizes the extreme bioclimatic sensations due to heat in the province of Mayabeque. The subject is of great importance due to its direct and indirect impacts on people's comfort and health. For this purpose, the bioclimatic indicator called Intense Heat Condition (CCI) is used, generated from the thermal sensations of people at 7 am and 1 pm, in its two modalities, without wind (CCIcv) and with wind (CCIcv). The climatic data were taken for the period 1991 - 2010, in three meteorological stations representative of the climatic conditions of the territory: Casablanca, Bainoa and Melena del Sur. It was found that the CCIs are a characteristic feature of the summer months in the province, with greater frequency towards both coastal areas. In addition, CCIs occur on isolated days or in spurts of up to 6 days. To the north of Mayabeque the most significant tendencies to the increase of the CCI are registered, and the points of change are reported at the end of the 90s and the beginning of the 2000s.

Les données climatiques ont été prises pour la période 1991 - 2010, dans trois stations météorologiques représentatives des conditions climatiques du territoire : Casablanca, Bainoa et Melena del Sur. Il a été constaté que les CCI sont une caractéristique des mois d'été dans la province, avec une fréquence plus élevée vers les deux zones côtières. En outre, les CCI se produisent lors de journées isolées ou de périodes allant jusqu'à 6 jours. Dans le nord de Mayabeque, les tendances les plus significatives dans l'augmentation des ICC ont été enregistrées, les points d'inflexion étant signalés à la fin des années 1990 et au début des années 2000.

O tema é de grande importância devido aos seus impactos directos e indirectos no conforto e na saúde das pessoas. Para o efeito, utiliza-se o indicador bioclimático denominado Condição de Calor Intenso (CCI), gerado a partir das sensações térmicas das pessoas às 7 e às 13 horas, nas suas duas modalidades, sem vento (CCIcv) e com vento (CCIcv). Os dados climáticos foram recolhidos para o período 1991 - 2010, em três estações meteorológicas representativas das condições climáticas do território: Casablanca, Bainoa e Melena del Sur. Verificou-se que os CCI são uma caraterística dos meses de verão na província, com maior frequência em ambas as zonas costeiras. Além disso, os CCI ocorrem em dias isolados ou em períodos de até 6 dias. No norte de Mayabeque, registaram-se as tendências mais significativas no aumento dos ICC, tendo os pontos de viragem sido registados no final da década de 1990 e no início da década de 2000.
