Jackie Morris is an internationally acclaimed British author and illustrator of more than seventy works whose richly detailed watercolors and lyrical storytelling have made her one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary illustrated books. Jackie lives on the Pembrokeshire Coast in Wales, where the wild landscapes and the flora and fauna that inspire her writing and illustration form the core of her artistic practice. The Lost Spells is a book authored by Robert Macfarlane and illustrated by Jackie Morris. They are the team that created the best selling The Lost Words published by Penguin Random House. This 1000 piece jigsaw takes as its source, the glossary section of the Lost Spells book along with Macfarlane's extraordinary 'spells' relating to each animal that is illustrated. The book was published in N. America by House of Anansi. The jigsaw features illustrations of over 50 different species of bird, animal and flora and fauna. It also identifies each separate item with both their common and their latin names.
