Umso erstaunlicher ist, dass bei etwa 500¿000 weiblichen Helferinnen der Wehrmacht nur einige wenige dieser Briefe für die Wissenschaft zur Verfügung stehen.Bei der vorliegenden Edition handelt es sich um die Wiedergabe eines Kriegstagebuchs sowie um relevante Auszüge aus mehr als 200 Feldpostbriefen einer in Nordnorwegen eingesetzten Stabshelferin an ihre Mutter. Sie vermitteln ein eindrucksvolles Bild des Alltags einer jungen Frau in einer Region, in der kriegerische Aktionen nur am Rande stattfanden.
