Deze publicatie, die verschijnt bij de gelijknamige tentoonstelling in Museum Catharijneconvent, gaat over de veelzijdige relatie tussen het christendom en de bestudering van het heelal, het menselijk lichaam, de natuur en de aarde in West-Europa. Een veelzijdigheid die zich beweegt tussen onlosmakelijke verbondenheid en desastreuze vijandschap.
