Development of Bio Based Polymers for Industrial Coating Application

An anti-graffiti coating is a coating that prevents graffiti paint from sticking to surfaces. It means these coatings permit the easy removal of graffiti without damage to the substrate. The system comprises a multi-coat base system that increases the hardness of the substrate. Anti-graffiti is a property of a coating that does not allow dye, permanent markers stickers, graffiti, paint or any other markings to bond to dry films. Because of its non- sticky characteristics it does not allow dust particles to stick on its surface. This particular property of anti-graffiti top coat renders a better aesthetic look during service. Anti-graffiti coating is simple to use, it adheres to most of the surfaces. This unique formulation provides a hard and durable clear gloss finish that also seals the surface and provides easy removal of graffiti. This coating is considered as permanent in nature. Removal of graffiti can be done using a pressure washer or graffiti remover. Besides Anti-graffiti properties this coating has better UV protection, higher gloss retention, better durability and corrosion resistance.

Green Approach for Recycling of E-waste through radiation processing

Electronic waste' or 'e-waste' is a generic term involving various forms of electric and electronic devices that has reached to its end-of-life, waiting for its disposal. Computer waste is the most significant of all e-waste due to the gigantic amounts as well as the rate at which it is generated and it has become global problem. The existing recycling technologies not only trouble the human but also the environment. There is no recycling technology exist as a permanent solution for balancing the fastest growth of IT field, therefore we have tried green approach for the recycling of e-waste. This requirement for the up-gradation in the field of recycling technology paved our research.
