Mit 365 Bildern aus ihrem Privatarchiv, gewährt Patti Smith, Rock-Ikone, Schriftstellerin, Ausnahmekünstlerin, einen sehr persönlichen und inspirierenden Einblick in ihren Alltag und ihr künstlerisches Schaffen. Im Jahr 2018 postete Patti Smith ihr erstes Foto auf Instagram, noch ohne eine Vorstellung davon zu haben, wohin es sie führen würde: ihre Hand zusammen mit der einfachen Botschaft: »Hello Everybody!« Smith, die eigentlich dafür bekannt ist, mit einer alten Polaroid-Kamera zu fotografieren, begann nun, Handybilder zu posten, wie zum Beispiel Fotos von ihren Kindern, einem schlichten Heizkörper, ihren Stiefeln oder von ihrer Abessinierkatze Cairo. Ihre Follower fühlten sich sofort angesprochen von diesen Miniaturfenster in Pattis Welt: Fotos von ihrem Kaffee, den Büchern, die sie las oder den Gräbern so geliebter Helden wie William Blake, Dylan Thomas, Sylvia Plath, Simone Weil und Albert Camus.
