Goldy und Peter de Vries waren ein niederländisches Musikerduo, das Ende der 40er Jahre mit ihrem Lied -Von den blauen Bergen kommen wir- landesweit bekannt wurde. Das Duo machte Schlager, der von der amerikanischen Country-Musik und von der damals populären Hawaii-Musik beeinflusst war. Als die Platte -Von den blauen Bergen kommen wir- in Deutschland erschien, löste sie einen Boom von Cowboy-Schlagern aus. Später widmeten sie sich den ebenfalls sehr erfolgreichen Hawaii-Schlagern. Das Duo bestand aus Goldy de Vries (Gesang) und Peter de Vries (Gesang und Akkordeon). Auf den meisten Aufnahmen wurden sie vom Horst Wende-Trio und den Kihula-Hawaiians begleitet. 1955 konnten sich Goldy und Peter de Vries mit den Titeln -Tausend Kuller-Kuller-Tränen- (1955, Platz 28) und -Lula-Leila- (1956, Platz 23) noch zwei Mal in den Charts platzieren, danach wurde es ruhiger um das Duo.
