Suzanne Collins is een Amerikaanse schrijfster, geboren in 1962 in Hartford, Connecticut. Ze staat vooral bekend als de auteur van de populaire 'Hunger Games'-trilogie, bestaande uit de boeken 'The Hunger Games', 'Catching Fire' en 'Mockingjay'.
