"On n'a pas cent fois, dans une vie, l'occasion de gueuler à la face de Dieu. L'âge venu, je prends cette liberté. C'est vrai, je ne risque plus grand-chose ! Alors c'est vrai je hurle: contre ce Dieu que j'aime et qui ne cesse de fuir, contre les prières murmurées dans mon lit, au petit matin. Contre le silence des dimanches sans amis. J'insulte Dieu de m'abandonner sans joie, sans désir, en ce corps qui me lâche. J'avance, pourtant. Je lis. Je rencontre des auteurs, des talents nouveaux. J'écris un peu. J'espère en Dieu, tout de même. Je lui parle. Et je pleure de l'aimer sans grâce, avec plaisir encore, et de l'aimer jusqu'à la fin, dans l'abandon et la lumière. " (F.V.)
