Watchmen: Rorschach's Redemption is the limited edition one-shot comic special event that follows Alan Moore's critically acclaimed 12-part graphic novel Watchmen.The comic was released on November 25, 2010 due to the popular nature of the graphic novel and was considered extremely valuable as only 200 copies were ever made. Further printings of the comic are currently being negotiated however Moore expressed his wish to have it remain an exclusive product.The plot revolves around the titular character of Rorschach and his journey after the events of Watchmen, after Dr. Manhattan seemingly inexplicably saved him after committing to his destruction.

Alan Moore, born November 25, 1974 in Dublin, Republic of Ireland is a retired Irish footballer. Moore moved to Derry City after a short spell without a club as he had left Shelbourne FC in January, 2007 over pay disputes. His previous clubs included Burnley, Barnsley and Middlesbrough. During his time at Middlesbrough, he was once described as "the Ryan Giggs of the north-east". Moore returned home to Ireland during the summer of 2004 and signed for Shelbourne where he had an immediate impact on the team. In the UEFA Champions League qualifiers he scored away to KR Reykjavik to help secure a 2-2 draw that would see the team progress on away goals and in the Second Round he scored home and away against Hajduk Split who Shelbourne knocked out 4-3 on aggregate.

Watchmen is a twelve-issue comic book limited series created by writer Alan Moore, artist Dave Gibbons, and colourist John Higgins. The series was published by DC Comics during 1986 and 1987, and has been subsequently reprinted in collected form. Watchmen originated from a story proposal Moore submitted to DC featuring superhero characters that the company had acquired from Charlton Comics. As Moore's proposed story would have left many of the characters unusable for future stories, managing editor Dick Giordano convinced the writer to create original characters instead.

Watchmensch is a one-shot comic book released by Brain Scan Studios which parodies the Watchmen limited series created by writer Alan Moore, artist Dave Gibbons, and colorist John Higgins. The comic book was written by writer Rich Johnston and artist Simon Rohrmuller as a parody of not only the series itself, but the comics industry, the movies they spawn and the creators that get trampled on.Johnston used the parody as a means to illustrate the comic book industry, as well as to serve as an allegory of the rancorous relationship between Watchmen creator Moore and DC Comics. Watchmensch story mirrors some of the aspects of the series it parodies, specifically that of imitating the art of Dave Gibbons. It also mimics several of the plot points of the series to tell its story.
