  3. Vindaloo (Song)

    Vindaloo (Song)

"Vindaloo" is a song by British band Fat Les. The music was written by Blur bassist Alex James and the lyrics were written by comedian Keith Allen. It was released as a single in 1998 and recorded for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. The song was originally written as a parody of football chants, but was adopted as one in its own right and became a cult classic. Much of the song consists of the phrase "nah nah nah" and the word "vindaloo" repeated over and over by a mixed group, occasionally interspersed with lines such as "And we all like vindaloo" and "We're England; we're gonna score one more than you".

    The Lonely Cedar Ship

Long ago, the island was whole, until belief tore it apart. The Eco-naughts, guardians of nature, clashed with the Rebels, builders of stone and steel. Their fragile peace crumbled into a brutal war that would reshape their world. As the island burns, Sean, leader of the Eco-naughts, seeks an alliance with King Paldo of Spain to overthrow a ruthless dictator. But victory reveals a deeper threat, mysterious lights in the sky, vanished ships, and beings who call themselves gods. Drawn into a conflict beyond mortal understanding, Sean must confront Ramona, a divine power whose quest for creation could destroy all life. A sweeping tale of war, faith, and the cost of progress, The Beginning War marks the rise of a hero who dares to challenge gods themselves.

    The Lonely Cedar Ship

Peace never lasts. Not when the gods are still watching. Months after escaping death itself, Molly and Ramona sail the open seas on the rebuilt cedar ship - free at last, or so they think. But something is wrong. Ramona feels it in her bones: the calm is too perfect, the world too quiet. The gods - Bo Bib and Bobo - are stirring again, and they haven't finished with her. When a strange light appears over the water, everything they fought for begins to unravel. Pulled back into the gods' war, Ramona is forced to choose between love and duty, between her humanity and the power she once wielded. Her creator demands she finish what was started - to make ships vanish, to test humanity's strength. But Ramona has learned what it means to feel, to care, and to disobey. As Molly fights to hold onto her, and the world above teeters on the edge of collapse, Ramona's journey takes her beyond life, death, and the stars themselves. What begins as a voyage across the sea becomes a battle for freedom - not just from the gods, but from fate itself. In the final chapter of The Lonely Cedar Ship saga, love challenges creation, rebellion meets redemption, and one fallen goddess dares to rewrite the order of the heavens.

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Alexander Wilson James was a Scottish footballer, and is most noted for his success with Arsenal, where he is regarded as one of the club's greatest players of all time. James played as an inside forward, as a supporting player for the main strikers. He was famed for the excellent quality of his passing and supreme ball control, leading many modern-day comparisons with Arsenal forward Dennis Bergkamp. His rheumatism meant he wore "baggy" shorts to hide the long johns he wore to keep warm; the baggy appearance became his trademark. Born in Mossend, Lanarkshire and brought up in nearby Bellshill where he was a boyhood friend of Hughie Gallacher. James started his career with local youth clubs. Alex James joined Raith Rovers in 1922. He spent three seasons at Starks Park, recording nearly a hundred League appearances, before moving to Preston North End for £3,000 in 1925
