One Hot Minute Tour
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The One Hot Minute tour was a concert tour by the Red Hot Chili Peppers from 1995-1997 to support their album One Hot Minute. This was the first and only major tour guitarist Dave Navarro performed on with the band. The One Hot Minute era got off to a rocky start with extensive delays in recording; once the tour was underway there was a variety of mishaps and upheavals that caused Anthony Kiedis and Flea to rethink the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Many dates were canceled because drummer Chad Smith broke his arm; consequently, the band parted ways for much of 1996 and 1997. Dave Navarro officially joined the Peppers on September 5, 1993 though it would be almost a full year before he played his first show with the band. The short 1994 tour titled Tour de La Sensitive was made up of mostly festival dates and ended with two opening dates on the Rolling Stones tour.

Jane's Addiction - Shockingly Habitual
Jane's Addiction: SHOCKINGLY HABITUAL, is detailed, deep look at the history of rebellion and redemption. An ntimate and unflinching portrait of one of the most influential and groundbreaking bands to emerge from the 1980s Los Angeles underground. Chronicling their meteoric rise, turbulent years, and enduring legacy, this book captures the spirit of a band that defied convention and reshaped the sound of alternative rock. From the raw energy of their independent debut album, Jane's Addiction (Triple X), to the seismic cultural shift ushered in by Nothing's Shocking and the genre-defying masterpiece Ritual de lo Habitual, the story of Jane's Addiction is a tale of visionary artistry, uncompromising creativity, and chaotic self-destruction. Tracks like "Jane Says," "Mountain Song," and "Stop!" became anthems for a generation, blending punk, metal, funk, and psychedelia into a sound that couldn't be categorized.Led by the enigmatic Perry Farrell-an artist, provocateur, and the mind behind Lollapalooza-the band grappled with addiction, fame, and the limits of their own ambition. Dave Navarro's haunting guitar work, Eric Avery's thunderous bass lines, and Stephen Perkins' explosive drumming created a chemistry as volatile as it was transcendent. Yet their groundbreaking music often stood in stark contrast to the chaos behind the scenes: grueling tours, personal conflicts, and struggles with substance abuse that nearly derailed everything. This book delves into their beginnings in the gritty clubs of Los Angeles, their artistic peak with Nothing's Shocking, and the creative clashes that led to their first breakup at the height of their powers. It explores Farrell's vision of music as a communal, spiritual experience, Navarro's fight for self-expression amidst addiction, and Avery's deeply introspective role as the band's sonic architect. The story doesn't end with their disbandment; it follows their evolution through reunions, side projects like Porno for Pyros and Deconstruction, and their triumphant return with Strays and The Great Escape Artist.Through meticulous research and fictionalized dialogue, Jane's Addiction: A History of Rebellion and Redemption offers an honest look at the band's artistic and personal struggles, their cultural impact, and their enduring influence on the alternative music landscape. It's a testament to the power of art to challenge, inspire, and endure-a love letter to a band that broke all the rules and changed the game forever. This book isn't just about the music; it's about the people, the art, and the chaos that made Jane's Addiction a legend.
