No One Left Behind
Jack Hayes came home from two tours in Helmand Province carrying four names he can't put down. Kowalski. Webb. Price. Ruiz. The dead don't ask much of him. Just everything. When he crosses the street toward a woman standing outside a community outreach center - her eyes tracking exits, her body somewhere else entirely - he tells himself it's nothing. He tells himself he has nothing to offer. He crosses anyway.Emily Monroe has run from Victor Reyes twice. Both times he found her. Reyes runs half the city's trafficking network with the calm efficiency of a man who thinks of human beings as a supply chain - and who has enough protection inside law enforcement and city government to make official intervention a dead end. Jack isn't official. That's the only advantage he has. With the help of McAllister - a morally compromised former contractor who owes Jack a debt neither of them talks about - and Carla Vega, a survivor who spent seven years inside Reyes's operation memorizing everything she could see, Jack begins to build toward something that might actually stick. But Reyes is moving faster than they anticipated. And the girl Emily knows about - seventeen years old, eight months in, running out of chances - can't wait for the plan to be perfect. No One Left Behind is a thriller about what it costs to survive, what the dead ask of the living, and the specific, costly grace of deciding to stay useful when everything in you wants to stop. Fans of Vince Flynn, Lisa Gardner, and Dennis Lehane will find in Jack Hayes a protagonist whose damage is matched only by his precision - and whose story doesn't flinch from either.

Shutter Island (Film)
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Shutter Island is a 2010 psychological mystery-thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese. The film is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Dennis Lehane. Production started in March 2008. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as U.S. Marshal Edward "Teddy" Daniels, who is investigating the psychiatric facility on Shutter Island. Shutter Island was originally slated to be released on October 2, 2009, but Paramount pushed the release date to February 19, 2010. Paramount head executive Brad Grey blamed the economic downturn as the main factor behind the delayed release date. In 1954, U.S. Marshal Edward "Teddy" Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his partner, Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), go to the Ashecliff Hospital for the criminally insane on Shutter Island. They are investigating the disappearance of Rachel Solando, a patient said to have vanished from a locked room. Dr. John Cawley (Ben Kingsley), the head psychiatrist, explains that Rachel was institutionalized after drowning her three children.
