Rosa von Praunheim ist - "Viele. Filmemacher und Dichter, Dichter und Filmemacher, Dokumentarist, Chronist, Porträtist, Schriftsteller, Erzähler, Verfasser von Theaterstücken" - so beginnt Michael Lentz in seiner Laudatio zur Leipziger Poetikvorlesung im Jahre 2021. Und er erzählt weiter: "Rosa schreibt ... seit mindestens vier Jahren jeden Morgen ein Gedicht." Rosa selbst hat eine wilde Tiefenerfahrung von Dichtung. Bewunderte Schriftsteller wie Jean Cocteau, Tennesse Williams und Federico Garcia Lorca. Interviewte seinen Helden William Seward Burroughs für seinen Film "Underground and Emigrants" und hatte eine Affäre mit Jean Genet: "Dieser alt und kahl, Rosa jung und geil." Diese Spannung zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch die sprachlichen Ausdrucksverrücktheiten eines Rosa von Praunheim. Traf man Rosa von Praunheim zuhause, lagen auf einem Tisch stets die neuesten Bücher, mindestens fünf pro Woche, die er las und empfahl oder veriss. Er war ein aufmerksamer Leser und Beobachter. Immer im jetzt verhaftet. Und in seinen eigenen Gedichten lesen wir davon, was alles in seinem Kopf vorging. Ein wunderbarer Kosmos aus Realität und Surrealität. In Berlin gibt es eine Sammlung "Surreale Welten", die weit davon entfernt ist, den klassischen Surrealismus als abgeschlossene Kunstperiode darzustellen. Statt dessen wird Surrealität als allgemeingültige Kunstdarstellung gezeigt. So ließe sich am besten auch Rosa von Praunheims dichterische Dauersendung verstehen: surreal. Antonio Gades

Antonio Gades (November 14, 1936 - July 20, 2004) was a Spanish flamenco dancer and choreographer (born Antonio Esteve Ródenas in Elda, Alicante, Spain). He helped to popularise the art form on the international stage. His most notable works included dance adaptations of Prosper Merimée's Carmen and Federico García Lorca's Blood Wedding (Bodas de Sangre), as well as a feature-length adaptation of Manuel de Falla's 23-minute ballet El Amor Brujo. In the 1990s, he toured the world with his show Fuenteovejuna, based on Lope de Vega's play of the same name. He collaborated closely with the Spanish director Carlos Saura in the filming of these adaptations, and also with Cristina Hoyos, one of the most prolific contemporary female flamenco dancers.
