Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Prison rape commonly refers to the rape of inmates in prison by other inmates or prison staff. According to Human Rights Watch, at least 140,000 inmates are raped each year, and there is a significant variation in the rates of prison rape by race. Stop Prisoner Rape, Inc. statistics indicate that there are more men raped in U.S. prisons than non-incarcerated women similarly assaulted. They estimate that young men are five times more likely to be attacked; and that the prison rape victims are ten times more likely to contract a deadly disease. According to the study conducted by the United States Department of Justice for the year 2006, there were 2,205 allegations of inmate-on-inmate nonconsensual sexual acts reported, total, in the U.S. prison system. 262 of the allegations were substantiated.

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Between Time and Timbuktu, billed as "a space fantasy based on materials by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.," is a television play adapted from several Vonnegut novels and stories. Produced by National Educational Television and WGBH-TV in Boston, Massachusetts, it was telecast March 13, 1972 as a NET Playhouse special. The book's preface includes a summary of the contributors to the production: Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. was commissioned to be an advisor and contributor to the script in 1971... Many good people created funny stuff as the filming progressed, most notably Bob Elliott and Ray Goulding, and Fred Barzyk, the director.

REFORMOWANIE POLITYKI WRA¿LIWO¿CI
Dlaczego kochamy gryzienie, satyr¿ spo¿eczn¿, a jednocze¿nie nienawidzimy praktykowä jej wezwanie do zmiany? Dowd próbuje odpowiedzie¿ na to pytanie w ramach samych trybów narracji. Rozci¿gaj¿c si¿ w czasie i przestrzeni geograficznej, narracyjne tryby XVIII i XIX-wiecznej wräliwo¿ci przenikaj¿ nawet najbardziej satyryczne z "nowoczesnych" narracji reformatorskich. Od Charlesa Dickensa do Tima Dorseya, "Reforming the Politics of Sensibility" to trajektoria politycznie my¿l¿cych autorów, których teksty odzwierciedlaj¿ zmieniaj¿cy si¿ konflikt mi¿dzy celami reformatorskimi a trybami sentymentalnymi. Sugeruj¿c, ¿e zwi¿zek kädego autora z sentymentem nadaje ton socjopolitycznej pracy jego powie¿ci, Dowd ilustruje wäne zwi¿zki mi¿dzy pozornymi przeciwie¿stwami: wräliwo¿ci¿, satyr¿, melodramatem i postmodernizmem. Jej ksi¿¿ka prosi nas o rozwäenie skomplikowanych interakcji tych gatunków w socjopolitycznej skuteczno¿ci fikcji. Badaj¿c sentymentalne tryby w Orwellowskim 1984, Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater i Dorsey's Florida Roadkill, Dowd pokazuje, ¿e sentymentalne tryby rolla nadal graj¿ w politycznej ciszy, tak niezadowalaj¿cej dla krytyków popularnej fikcji.
