Embodying the Artificial

Embodying the artificial explores dance creation with generative AI and other technologies. Drawing on ethnographic research, it examines the kinesthetic, ontological, and ethical dimensions of human–AI co-creation, offering frameworks for choreographers to engage critically and creatively with intelligent machines.

Diego Marin-Bucio (PhD, University of Oslo) is a performing artist and dance researcher whose work bridges choreography, technology, and philosophy. Shortlisted for the One Dance UK Awards 22’, he has been Visiting Scholar at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge, UK, and Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, Spain.
