Description
Covers the key areas and the science of microbiology from a point of view relevant to a range of practitioners working in wound care who wish to enhance their skills at a postgraduate level.
This is a very useful and timely book, which has achieved its goals very well throughout. Because of its format - small chapters and clear, practical contents - it is accessible also to those for whom English is not the first language. I would recommend it for all professionals involved in wound care in any care setting as a resource for clinical and scientific information for best practice.
I wish I had read this book when I was a medical student. The combination of clarity, brevity and practicality will make it useful to medical trainees at all levels, as well as physicians and nurses who care for patients with wounds, but who do not have specialized training in this subject.
I would definitively recommend having this book in the personal library of every one working in the antimicrobial field.
