Jacobine Dijkman is internet detective in Nijmegen, a team which is led by Rolf Detering. In 2005 she interviews Goos de Graaf, a student who reports to have met the murderer of his mother. A crime which took place at a campingsite when he was four years old, present under the awning of the tent in which his mother lost her life. Jacobine takes his statement serious after she studied research in the 'US' at what age a minor can remember a violent event. Rolf doesn't want to contradict her, gives her the benefit of the doubt. Gives her space to search for evidence, but the file of Els de Graaf, the mother of Goos, will not be reopened as it is an old case which happend in 1992. Only the copy of a letter from Goos' father, explaning what has happened on the day of the murder gives some guidance. In 2006 Jacobine accompanies her colleague Doris van Beeck to Lyon in France, where in the university an international forum takes place about old crime cases which have not been solved. One of the cases what they have signed up for takes place in Italy, in Viareggio. The assassination of a young women at a campingsite. The day Jacobine meets Gennaro Gallo, an internet detective in Pisa.
