Adolph Lowe, one of the most eminent scholars of political economics now living, has written a broad and philosophical work examining freedom's costs, and the conditions--economic and political--under which it can be established.

ADOLPH LOWE studied law, economics, and philosophy at the Universities of Munich, Berlin, and Tubingen. Prior to World War II, he was Professor of Economics at the University of Frankfurt and Director of the Institute of World Economics at Kiel.
