Japanese Popular Prints

In the West, Japanese prints are associated with the ukiyo-e tradition. These prints are are considered to be fine art, using the highest quality of materials and immense time and skill. Exploring this tradition, this book looks at the work that is being done in this field.

Rebecca Salter is a well-known British printmaker. She lived in Japan for 6 years and she is an acknowledged authority on Japanese woodblock printing. She has previously written Japanese Woodblock Printing for A&C Black.
