Kill Shakespeare: Second Folio

Fresh from leading her rebel group to victory in war, Juliet Capulet is finally free to start the next chapter of her life with her new love, Hamlet, at her side. But her ex, Romeo, discovers a disturbed young woman carrying a ghostly message that pushes them to travel to a mysterious, remote island to save the wizard Shakespeare. A love triangle emerges as they find themselves pitted against each other as well as monsters, magic, madness – and the wizard Prospero.

As they go on the run, they are taken hostage by the infamous pirate Cesario. Their presence triggers a mutiny and leads to an epic battle with Titus Andronicus’ mighty fleet, and its cannibalistic captain. More importantly, Juliet is forced to reflect on an earlier adventure revolving around her mother’s death.

Can she and the team defeat these two sets of foes, or are they truly fortune’s fools?

Created by Pulitzer Prize-winner Anthony Del Col (Luke Cage: Everyman, I Escaped a Chinese Internment Camp) and Conor McCreery (Assassin’s Creed, The Last Witch), with art by Andy Belanger and Corin Howell, this Second Folio collects Volumes 3 – 5 of the series described as, “one of the most successful indie comic series of the 21st century.”
