Pelton Mill

Pelton Mill is a historic carpet mill located at Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York. It was built about 1834 and rebuilt after the fire of 1854. It is a four and one half story, three bay brick building with a gable roof.A grinding mill is a unit operation designed to break a solid material into smaller pieces. There are many different types of grinding mills and many types of materials processed in them.
