Power & Glory

Power & Glory is a visual homage to the NFL, taking us on a hard-hitting journey from the pre-Super Bowl era to the present day. Using stunning images, it's a celebration of a uniquely American sporting culture, featuring great stars, teams, games and stadiums. Alongside these beautiful and breathtaking photos are stats, records and write-ups.

Matthew Bazell is author of the sports photography books Soul & Glory: English Football 1950-1989, Wars of the Ring: Boxing Classics 1970-2020 and Glory & Despair: The World Cup 1930-2018. His other football titles include Theatre of Silence, which includes a guest chapter from John Lydon. His 2019 release We've Only Got One Song is a collection of more than 400 songs and chants from the fans of Arsenal FC.
