Ellie Dix is a board game obsessive, an ex-teacher and an educationalist who firmly believes that games are a sure-fire antidote to unhealthy online distractions and a means to a happier, more social life. She now uses all her understanding of behaviour, experience with gamification, teaching skills and game-playing history to design and develop board games; pitching ideas, developing games created by others and collaborating on interesting commissions.

In her spare time, Ellie will usually be found playing a board game (unsurprisingly). She also loves singing, acting and ballroom dancing and has recently completed an OU maths degree... for fun.
