Este trabalho versa sobre o abuso de direito do empregador e os danos extrapatrimoniais: danos morais, dano existencial e doenças ocupacionais, experimentados pelo empregado, em decorrência desse abuso. Neste sentido, pretende-se analisar as relações de trabalho no curso da história, abordando aspectos desde a Roma antiga até a mais recente reforma das Leis Trabalhistas Brasileira, ocorrida em 2017; a dinâmica das relações laborais, seus fundamentos e princípios norteadores; e, o poder diretivo do empregador face os empregados e seus limites. O estudo pretende demonstrar que as empresas devem estar atentas para garantir um meio ambiente laboral saudável e sustentável para seus empregados, respeitando os princípios da dignidade humana e da personalidade do trabalhador para evitar que este sofra violações de ordem extrapatrimonial e doenças ocupacionais.
