Securum
Securum was a Swedish state company founded in 1992 during the financial crisis in Sweden 1990-1994 for the purpose of taking on and unwinding bad debts from the partly state-owned Nordbanken bank. It followed a proposal made to the Swedish authorities by McKinsey & Co and based on better practices from the US banking crises of the 1980s (e.g., Savings & Loan, Resolution Trust Company and Mellon Bank). Many of the debts were owed by real-estate companies and it became a goal for Securum to stabilize the property market. Is Not A Sales Problem
Most businesses don't collapse because they lack sales. They struggle because growth happens on top of disorder. As revenue increases, complexity grows. Decisions become reactive. Operations lose consistency. Financial control weakens. Teams depend too heavily on constant supervision. And over time, the business begins to operate without structure. Is Not a Sales Problem offers a different perspective. Based on more than 15 years of direct experience in business operations, financial structure, management, and executive decision-making, Oscar D. Montesano explains why many companies continue facing the same problems even after increasing revenue - and what is truly required to build a business that operates with stability, visibility, and direction. Inside this book, you will discover: - Why selling more does not solve operational disorder- The five essential pillars behind a structured business- How clarity, control, finance, operations, and strategy work together- Real business cases and practical operational lessons- How to reduce improvisation and build stronger internal systems- Why sustainable growth requires structure, not constant reaction This is not a theoretical business book filled with abstract concepts or motivational speeches. It is a practical and executive-level perspective designed for entrepreneurs, operators, business owners, and leaders who want to organize their company with greater coherence, predictability, and long-term stability. Because in the end, a business grows stronger when structure grows with it.
