Finding Greyfriars Bobby

The story of Greyfriars Bobby was made world famous by the 1961 film of the same name. Bobby was adopted by the author’s family after the film. This is the true story of what happened to the Bobby after the film was made.

Dave Hunter was born, bred and still lives in Edinburgh. He is an experienced IT Manager at one of the UKs largest banks. Bobby was adopted by David’s family after the film was released in 1961. He has fond memories of the dog and led the search team to find Bobby’s lost grave.
